What is a personal trainer?
A personal trainer is a fitness professional who holds a level 3 certificate in Personal training. They are commonly known as a PT. A good PT will be able to motivate, educate and support you throughout your fitness journey.
How can personal training help me to achieve my goals?
Your individual needs will be taken into account in order to ensure that your sessions are individual and specifically designed for you. Different people require different levels of support from their PT, some just need an extra push, others require more support from help with not only training, to nutrition and managing a healthy lifestyle as well. So the answer is, a good personal trainer will be able to support you in all aspects of your life, focusing on a whole body transformation.
What if I begin Personal training and then run into financial difficulty?
There are many options available and should your financial situation change during your personal training, simply have a chat to your PT and see what can be done. It maybe that you need to reduce the amount of sessions you have, or convert to a fitness programme card for a few weeks.
Are there any discounts available?
If you book a block package of 5 or more sessions and pay in advance then you will receive a discount. This is preferred as it shows that the client is making a commitment to change their health and knowing you have sessions pre-booked and paid for will help to keep you on track and increase the likelihood of success.
What if I need to cancel a session? What about refunds? Termination of sessions?
You can cancel and postpone sessions without charge providing you give a minimum of 24-hours notice. Less than this period and you will still be charged full price. There are no refunds given under any circumstances. Abusive or violent behaviour towards staff will not be tolerated and will result in termination of any remaining sessions without refund.
Typically packages of 5 sessions are give 7 weeks to complete and packages of 10 are given 12 weeks to complete. You will be asked on your 4th and 9th session whether you would like to resign for another package of sessions and given the option to change time slots if required.
How do I pay for sessions?
Sessions can be paid by cash or bank transfer, all sessions must be paid for 48 hours prior to the session. Payment reciepts are available on request.
